At ScrollVeto, your privacy is our highest priority. Unlike other screen-time or habit-tracking applications, ScrollVeto is built on an absolute offline-first philosophy. This Privacy Policy outlines exactly how your data is handled—or more accurately, how it is not handled by us.
ScrollVeto requires the "Accessibility" and "Usage Access" permissions on Android exclusively to monitor when you open specific user-selected applications and to overlay block screens (like Monk Mode) over them.
To function as a strict app blocker, ScrollVeto requests the following sensitive permissions:
Because your data is stored exclusively on your device, you have complete control over it. To delete all your ScrollVeto data (including streaks, limits, and usage history), you simply need to clear the app's data in your Android Settings or uninstall the application. Once uninstalled, all historical data is permanently wiped from your device.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes in Google Play Store requirements or Android OS updates. We will notify users of any significant changes via in-app release notes.
